Amelia Edelman is a writer, editor, and content strategist specializing in parenting, travel, and health. She began her career as a speechwriter and ghostwriter and now has nearly 20 years of experience in digital and print media. She has held editorial roles at Refinery29, Real Simple, Parents, the BBC, and others. She is also known for creating a series of city guides for families called Mom Voyage and is the Founding Editorial Partner of the premium content agency Healthyish. Edelman's reporting and essays have appeared on/in The New York Times' T Brand, NPR, Travel + Leisure, Lonely Planet, Late Checkout, Parents, Hello Gloria, CityCast, the Rand McNally Road Atlas in your mom's car, and more. Edelman has a BA from Vassar College and an MA from New York University. She has also studied at St. Andrews University in Scotland, at the Unterberg Poetry Center at 92Y, and received a fellowship at Rivendell Writer's Colony in Sewanee, TN.
